It’s very pleasing for us to see gold recovering from some of the short-term losses that it had during the summer,” BlackRock managing director Evy Hambro told CNBC on Nov. 8. “The trend line in price remains intact … demand very robust, production still struggling to grow, central banks look as though they’re buying a lot more gold today than they have for the last 30 years, so that trend is definitely in our favor.”
