Mintek president and CEO Abiel Mngomezulu and the organization’s two top gold researchers, Dr Gary Pattrick and Dr Robert Tshikhudo — who were commenting to Mining Weekly Online in a video interview — said gold was breaking out of its classical bullion-for-investment and jewellery typecasting across several fronts.
